Painted 2007 Spoiler - Cheap

On Ebay.

Going for $119 Buy it Now with free shipping...Ends Nov-23-07 07:16:11 PST

I'd be all over this if the wife hadn't put her foot down about my shopping habits for Christmas.

I'm sure one of you can benefit from this.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Philo, will your wife let you have one for $109?

There are still a few in eBay for that price:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=020

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MEWA:IT&ih=002

And the good news is you still have 5 days time to convince your wife

I like the price but I am undecided between whether to get a spoiler or not. My max does not have any spoiler now. Somehow I have the feeling that having a spoiler gives a car more of a sporty look and less of a luxury look. I want to think of my max as a luxury car and less a sporty car. BTW, the aerodynamic drag coefficient is 0.31 without spoiler and 0.30 with rear spoiler. Does that 0.01 make any difference in anything in real life, like fuel consumption, speed pickup, etc.?

Less drag is usually better since car glides more smoothly through the air. But I think its very minimal anyways for you to notice while driving. So I doubt it would help anyways at normal highway speeds to keep the car more steady or anything but those numbers seem to small to make a difference preformance wise. but visually it makes a big difference it looks a lot better to me but I think that they are going for to cheap and don't want to buy something thats low quality. So if someone knows the right seller to buy from where I can get quality please post it here. Thanks.

Did you have to cut or drill the body of the car to attach the spoiler? If yes, where did you get it done and how much did it cost you?

BTW, I never knew you got the spoiler attached later. It perfectly fits with your max.

Do you guys think the raised lighted spoiler or the regular factory style lighted spoiler fits the Max better....

I am afraid of drilling holes in the trunk lid..I am assuming I will have to? How hard is the brake light wiring, blackmax07?

I'm deathly of drilling to... even the noise scares me... so I dont know... I might have to just bring it in to the shop or something.....I will try to get them to change the bumper, grille, spoiler, and lights at the same time to get all that done...

Relax vQ35LIFE , some people just aren't as comfortable doing some jobs themselves. I do a lot of my own work on my car but I didn't want to drill out the trunk either. I paid $50 and it was done in an hour stress free for me...

yeah I definitely agree.... some people dont wanna deal with or are not yet semi-pro at managing their vehicles overall look. so why not go to a pro especially in my case when you can get stuff done for free at an auto shop.... and talking about changing a spoiler vs. going to the bathroom...... TERRIBLE COMPARISON...

LMFAO!!! Too funny bro...

Admittedly though, there is much more than meets the eye here. If you have a setup like mine, you'll need bodyshop work to go with a 6.5gen tail, filler, paint, etc...
