I know some people are not feeling some of the aspects of this bumper, and believe me, your opinions are more than welcome, lets get something we all like, price wise, im hoping to keep it in the 500 to 550 range, thats mostly because of the grill, then the lights,

It will prolly come with a detachable center piece, (the upside down t) you get two bumper for the price of one!, if I can get a cheap way to make more we can keep designing more center pieces to change the look every now and then.

Well guys, no much more to say, expect this to be out in january or feb next year.

this is what it should look like, we might change some things in the molding process but this is what im shooting for.

photoshopers use this image to add your own grill design for the center piece
This looks like a hampster on steroids. The openings are way too big, I'd like to see more of a "squinty" that all automakers seem to employ when going for that aggressive look. Besides, good luck getting into an accident without and actual bumper.

Its confirmed, this bumper is going to be made of Duraflex...

"DURAFLEX technology is a revolutionary product which combines fiberglass, plastic, and flex resins to obtain its unique features. DURAFLEX products obtain a much higher durability rate than the average fiberglass product, reducing shipping damages up to 75%. Every DURAFLEX product is inspected through a rigorous quality control process giving consumers the highest quality product available with superior craftsmanship. This process ensures that DURAFLEX products are free from normal fiberglass deficiencies including waviness, spider cracks, chips, and gel coat damage. DURAFLEX products come finished with a shiny black gel coat, high quality mesh, hardware kit, and an installation guide. With such attention to detail, DURAFLEX products are surprisingly affordable, roughly 50% of the cost of a comparable high quality JDM product. DURAFLEX products include many advantages of both fiberglass and poly- urethane aerodynamics, while leaving out most of the disadvantages."

More details coming tomorrow.

those sides will prolly not make it, I was thinking on just using the vip sides, the rear bumper im gonna work on some shops over the weekend,
prices front and rear are going to be about 400 each in duraflex with the mesh, as for the fog or drl im still working on those. shipping will vary from 80 to 150 anywhere in the US.

here are the sides im talking about.

Front looks...droopy. Yes, thats the word for it. Droopy. Why does the center sag? It should be clean with straight lines.

My opinion!

I think they need to be properly drafted up just to make sure everything you are envisioning comes to life before going into any initial molds. If you look at Luke's original RLM drawing, it's way cleaner/smoother than the actual production. I think with a proper drawing/blueprint it can come to life as good as the photoshops...
Not sure if bodykitz offers this type of finishing but as I said I have a guy who could pull it off. He may charge a small fee but the payoff would be worth it..

As for this drawing, I don't like the lines that extend up from the lower grill, keep it clean...
I also think the lower grill should be a bit lower from the top side. The cross bumper portion (below the stock grill) looks too skinny. Getting there though!!

Ok, some more revisals, first I took care of the droop, fixed the lip, and addressed Jay's concern about the part above the bottom vent. I also modified the skirts. While I was at it I though I would throw something new into the mix and integrated fogs into the side vents in place of the drls. Let me know what you think.

and since looks like everyone has their own likes and dislikes, im going to go with a simple yet sporty design, not too out there not to in there, for those of you who like the little crests on the "camry" like bumper aswell as the round fogs, those can be made later and be adapted to this bumper, or at least thats the plan,

here is what im leaning towards. (I know its been posted before, but with the wheels and lowered it just looks soooo clean.

Lets do a list for this one..

1.

I cant front..... this set up looks so tight!!

Hey J, bodikitz.org is not doing this bumper, ExtremeDimensions is.

And joe, are those fog lights out there already?, or do they need to be manufactured?

Yes a bit but if the RLM bumper was done/finished right it would've been perfect. I think keeping with this theme/look is the right direction...
