When I go look for grills they always say 04-06. Where can I get good 07 grille or do they all fit the same?

Ghostman1000x! There are several choices of grilles on ebay that you might be interested in consisting of the 2pc Billet Grille, E&G, and California Performance etc................ I've fabricated a Cadillac CTS grille to fit the 2004-2006 Maxima front bumper which turned out great. But recently I upgraded my 05 Front bumper to a 07 Front bumper with some minor modification. Now since the Cadillac CTS grille was designed for 2004-2006 front bumper shape, I decided to fabricate a grille for the 07 Front Bumper to look slightly similar to a activetuning style grille. Below is the link to the thread over @ the other Org.

Black.

No, j/k. I love the 07 bumper, it looks way more aggro than the previous version.

IMHO I prefer a black background (mesh) over a billet grille for this reason

that grill would look good with a gunmetal powder coat on a smoke max. anyone ever consider getting roof strips gunmetal powder-coated? I think gunmetal emblems, roof strips and grill would look cool.

Its easy enough just wanted to emphasize the prep work. I didnt tape up my install and ended up with a little scratch when tightening the nuts down. Also with a light colored car, mines silver, you should paint behind the grill to hide the color.

07 Custom Grille

Hay! Guys & Gals my custom 07 Grille is finally complete, it just needs some slight wet sanding that should only take 30 mins or less. Then the entire Grille Frame will be paint the same color[bw9] as the vehicle except for the mesh, which will be paint a glossy or flat black. Few pics below with a link of the entire process:

Deus! Thanks for the compliment man the mesh was purchased @ a friends Wheel & Accessories shop here in town. It's a really good grade of Diamond Mesh cut, I almost don't want to paint it but that's the process of this project. Besides if it doesn't look the part I'll just replace it as needed. Plus I notice a thicker grade of mesh @ my friends shop, more "Expensive" but looks really good like the Strut Grilles.

Deus! You gotta check out the link below that shows all the materials involved in creating this Custom Fabricated 07 Grille. The 07 O.E.M Grille is actually a 2 piece unit consisting of a hard plastic frame[chrome out-line] an the actually grille [grey portion] that is hard plastic as well.

EK9AT10Psi! It shouldn't be a problem @ all fabricating one of these grilles once again, it's actually pretty easy to design just a bit time consuming. Would only take a few days to build an structure properly. I had several request already which makes me really consider designing some more for the 07 Front End.

PhotoGus! I'm glad you ask how the Custom Grille fits because it lines up perfect. No rubbing, shifting, or any additional modification needed for proper installation. It lines up exactly how the 07 O.E.M Front Grille would with "No" complication. I actually applied the grille onto the bumper today an the results look better then the photo-shop sketches from earlier. Everything is aligned in original placement just like the O.E.M Grille an tomorrow I'll have a few pics for you guys.
OH! Since the entire grille will be painted Blue(Bw9) except for the mesh I decided to spray one or two layers of Low Glossy Black Paint (Ceramic). Few new pics below:

Custom 07 Grille

Sorry to bring back a slightly faded out post but I wanted to share the final Custom 07 Grill pics before the Piaa Fogs are installed. Around that time I'll just begin a New Thread pertaining to the matter of the Piaa Halo Lights.

Below are just a few pics of the 07 Grille Project almost complete.
I still have to do a simple design for the bottom portion of the Bumper.

Looks sweet!!!!! Which seller did you buy the grill from?

Also, someone is selling a Bose headunit for my 2007 maxima on ebay. Does anyone know if I can just swap headunits or do I have to make other modifications for the Bose to work? Currently, my car does not have the Bose system.

The 05 Hood & 07 Front Bumper Project was painted and completed.
But, I really wanted the hood extended more which would require sanding
back down to the metal & fiberglass. Extending it from 1 1/2 inches to
a full 3 inches to capture a way better appearance with a slight
aggressive appeal. Now for any of you concerned about the 07
Front bumper fitting properly, Don't be! It matches up 100% along
with the 2004-2006 Hood opening & closing perfect. The minor issue
for some including my-self is that the vertical hood lines @ the
base near the bumper don't line up with the 07 bumper lines.
The measurements are around an inch or two apart.
Below is a link to 6thgenmaxima.org showing all the details on how the
project can be performed in your garage with the proper tools.
Having "Some" Body Shop Skills will help you out tremendously.

Any question feel free to ask!
