'07 Bumper fog lights

OK, need your help on this one.

I cannot afford right now the stock fogs or my favorite, the PIAA's.

Anyway, any other inexpensive option for fog lights on the '07 bumper? Open to any suggestions.

Also, do I need the fog light housing to install any universal fog light? Or it's not necessary?

I think you need the housing. I understand you can get them here fairly cheap. http://www.everythingnissan.com/

That's where I got the FINISH PANELS for about 9 bucks. The housing is a different story. If you can find any aftermarket light that's approximately 3.5x3.25 in measurement (3.5x3.5 is fine) then you'll be OK.

I stand corrected. So did you end up doing fogs after all or is that on your list?

It's on my list. Skep is going to sell me some PIAAs from his shop. But with those I'm going to have to get some custom brakets made.

Yes, I do! Sorry, I have been busy and this is my first time checking again in about 2 weeks, but I'm back

I bought some cheap ones from PepBoys and had these installed by the shop. They did a 'cheap' install since these don't really hold up without a lot of vibration, and I mean A LOT! Basically, they glued it to the bumper, yes, cheap mod people, but for now it works. I hope in the future to get some PIAA's when I can convince my wife (who knows when ) My car is quite indecent for pics(tons of rain and dust down here), I'll try to wash this weekend and post accordingly with details.

BTW, the '07 bumper looks awesome for our silver cars, did you finish yours already?

This is by far, much better than I anticipated. My wife says it looks like a Lexus, I think she refers to the IS350; I don't mind the comparison, that's a neat front in my opinion, pretty aggro.

Piaa Fogs

Yes! The Piaa(s) will set you back a buck or two but there really worth it.
As soon as a few more mods are complete on my max, I'll have them installed with pics. It requires just a little bit of boring out of the O.E.M Fog Covers, but just a little.

Yes! But there will be a nice hood scoop coming very soon.
The lines only complimented the maxima when I had the old
O.E.M Grille. Plus, I had to sand back down to the metal an re-fiberglass to extend the hood one more inch to cover the top portion of the grille completely. Once it's painted this weekend I'll post pics.

DOOD, I really REALLY hope you are kidding... To my knowledge no one has put a "hood scoop" on a 6th gen before. Don't even think about it.

WOW! Your awake! What type of hood scoop do you think I'm applying to my maxima. The multiple active hood vents look really good as well, but chill out just a bit. I'm only researching tasteful hood scoops for now, nothings written in stone quite yet. An, if your picturing a America Muscle Car hood scoop or some tacky raised up high off the hood type of thing. Then something is wrong with you; Do you think I'm trying to ruin-in my ride?
Slow down before you receive all the facts.

I wouldn't do that to you, sorry that I wasn't clear on the subject. I'll keep you posted on that project in the near future.
