realignment of 07 front bumper

Anyhow, my bumpers alignment is all off, after some retard hit it..Nothing major, just left scratches..anyhow the hood and bumper has a huge gap on the left side, and the headlights dont sit to flush..and if you push the bumper from the bumper it moves up a good half inch..does anyone know where the bumper is attached, so I can maybe look for the screws to tighten or something? Not sure how to go about fixing this, thanks!

Might give you a starting point. If you want picture go to the quick reference page of the fsm, body section. You"ll see front bumper. Page el-14

That's more like 'forced' realignment. Sorry to hear about your car man.

I'm getting mine back from the repair shop at the end of this week with the '07 front.

My understanding is that the bumper cover is clipped on. My car was hit a couple of days ago. (See sig pic and link) A little worse than scratches but not crunched up. One body shop says now days if clips are broke, they just replace it.

Did you file a report on the incident? New bumper cover is going for about $250 for the part.

It clips in right under the lights. I had this same issue with my 07 bumper on my 04 max. It's easiest if you clip those parts in before you actually attach it anywhere else. However, if you lift AND push at the same time, it should click in there nicely.

Apollos2, are you getting the '07 front bumper cover now?

Mine is in the shop after a little 'road incident', I know you know what I mean

Oh, look who's here, your friend (I think is red) hooked me up with your thread in the other org for the '07 bumper. Thanks a lot for the pics, great help when I showed it to my repair shop; seriously, big help.

Dude, I put red, but it was you who hooked me up with the link, my props, you're the man!

My ride is not as nice as all yours, my interior is OEM and so is the rest of the car. My exhaust pipes are even rusted out... IDK man, I'm thinking about it since all these 6th gens look all 'clean'. We'll see...

BTW Larsim, what muffler do you have in your car? I really like the look of it. The only problem I have is I won't be able to get them until the end of this year the earliest
