Not a fan of the wheels, but the drop looks freakin great.

Do you plan on dropping the rear less, or the same?

Looking forward to pics.

Took the car for spin and checked the clearance it’s about 1/8 of an inch, if you go any bigger you definitely will rub

Keep in mind the springs will settle...

Most members go with a 245/35 on a 20" wheel. Thats also on most 6th gen and not the 6.5 but...

Looks good. Id lose the stick on fender trim and the pin stripe.

My springs are noticably lower now than when I installed them.

The springs are made by Tein, my brother has set of those springs on his 5th generation Max and he’s happy, that’s why I purchased those lowering springs.
Ride is just fine. On bigger bumps car is stiffer but this is my first day on new suspension.

I just got rid of my wrx so exuse me for being a little new with the maxima's. I know for the subarus Tein made both S TEchs and H Techs. With the S Tech being a much lower ride. Does Tein make different options for the 6th generation maximas, and if so which one do you have? And are you using stock struts?

I have TEIN S Tech springs, and yes I’m using stock struts.

Just wondering why did you go from WRX to Maxima ?

well the wrx was turning 60K miles, and I am getting married in a couple months. I wanted something bigger. You really couldnt fit people comfortably in the back seat of it either. I bought an 05 maxima se with 20K miles. I loved all the features on the maxima including the heated streering wheel lol. Plus the wrx was 5 speed and I need an automatic for the fiance. Plus the maxima has some power which I love. My wrx went 12.98 at atco this fall.

I have a 04 maxima that I have had for about 9 months or so and im thinking of putting 20’s on it with a tire size or 245/35R20, I find the front end sits considerably higher then the rear. Is it possible just to lower the front end and not the rear? I was thinking of using just lowering springs and using the stock struts. Is it true that using lowering springs will beat the struts right out of it? And any idea how much lowering springs would cost?

Is it possible just to lower the front end and not the rear? Yes, but not the best thing in the world to do.

I was thinking of using just lowering springs and using the stock struts. Is it true that using lowering springs will beat the struts right out of it? Some people will drop their car and keep the OEM springs and have it last 30k miles or more - while for some others it will last 2 days - it's a coin toss.

And any idea how much lowering springs would cost? Look at the GD section.
