Suspension Time
Ok i've come to the realization that getting rid of Maxi just isn't feasible right now so I'm about to purchase some suspension parts.
I know quite a few of you have gone off the deep end and done a bunch of stuff so I'll hint at what I want to accomplish and if you guys can help me to get there it would be greatly appreciated. I also know that the custom Koni's with progress springs are the way to go but economically is this the best choice.
I'm trying to improve the ride quality overall. While i'm trying to get the car to handle better, I'm also trying to keep the ride from being jarring. Will the Progress / GR2 combination accomplish this or are the GR2s too stiff? I've also heard that the H&R / GR2 combination is a more comfortable ride. Can someone confirm this. Should i even touch the springs at all and just start with the struts? Will the stock springs hurt aftermarket struts?
Are the 18" wheels an issue? Is this something I should look at downgrading at the same time as the suspension?
We all know the stock Maxima suspension is trash and I really need to do this so I can feel like I didn't make a mistake buying this car. Since I was a kid I wanted a Maxima and so far I'm ready to torch a few service departments.
Any help would be appreciated as I'm ready to purchase by week's end.
Thanks in advance.

To be honest with you, I don't feel as though the stock suspension is "trash". It's pretty decent IMO. Of course, aftermarket is better. I'm looking into doing a total overhaul with a coilover replacement and putting a front and rear sway bar.
