Fog Lights

hey guys, i finally got my 07 conversion done. i am now debating on whether i should put hid's in the fogs on the bumper and keep the oem bulbs in the 04 housing or vise versa. i have to build a wiring harness with a relay any way so i was figuring which one would look better. fyi i build my own harness in a way so they can on without the headlights. input guys would be appreciated!

I'd say go for it and HID both!!! Or you could HID both but run 3000k's down below, that would look sweet...

I say go for a totally new rad look that is becoming more and more popular..I went with the PIA ION Yellow....they are as bright as or more than the 3ks and are really cool...Have them on my car and got lots of compliments! And it's inexpensive...I paid $55 for two! They are plug and play H3 replacements. no wiring or balasts or fuses etc...Simple yet cool and elegant....Xenons are too bright what U trying to do blind others?

dude forget about yellow hid's or bulbs go to hidtech.com and buy the yellow lexus capsules . they are only 30$ and neva fade and you can use reguler white bulbs when one of our bulbs go out plus its more yellower than anyother bulb out there.

Good luck, their customer service is ****.

Their capsules won't work on our projectors.

Is it worth it to replace the stock fogs (04 max) with xenon 3000K or 4300K? Will it make a big difference compared the the H3 bulb?

Will it blind other people or not? I wouldnt do that for looks, but if it lights up the road way better, that might be worth it. Right now, when I have the stock xenons, and I turn on the oem fogs, I have to say that it really really doesnt make much of a difference... maybe a slight yellow patch right in front of the car, thats all..

Opinions ?

sorry to jack thread, but it wont let me start my own.

Has anyone done an HID conversion in a 6th gen with no factory HID's? I have my 8000k headlight kit, and a 3000k foglight kit, hoping to do it tomorrow, but i searched and didnt find much on install. Both plug and play, but i heard the caps might be an issue and I might have to order new ones because they will be too short to fit the HID bulb. anyone know anything about this? and could I just drill a hole in the cap to open it up to fit the bulb?

I dont really love the yellow look of the fogs. I'd rather have 4300K fogs imo, since I always keep the fogs on.

Anyone's got a pic of street illumination with xenons and then xenon fogs? (not 3000k)

So you swapped out the OEM fogs for 6000k lights to be installed later

apollos, i kept the oem nissan ballast and put in 6k bulbs. and yes, i added the 35 3k hids down in the bumper. [i did the 07 bumper swap with all oem parts including the fogs, etc]. i also finished painting my headlights today as well! actually, i experimented on my brothers civic to get some practice, lol.

wow so you paid for the OEM fogs? They are a little pricey but you know they will fit.

it was worth it imo cause i didnt want to deal with making aftermarket ones fit. i got a really good price so it worked out. i wanted everything seamless and the wiring took a while to achieve that but in the end, it was worth it imo.

installed:

on: changed: d2s 6k & h11 3k 35w

ill get better pix, i guess i need to use the slr camera to make it look better.

Where can I get a really good price on them?

The picks look really good. Does the lower part of the bumper come stock with a grill or was that a seperate purchase like the top grill was?
