I noticed a clunking in the rear of my car and I discovered that the left muffler mount on the left side of the muffler has a broken rubber bushing. I got a new one from the stealership for around $18. Ill post pics when I install.

Anyone else have this problem happen to them?

 

The bracket on mine broke on the same side. I had my buddy weld it back. Mine was broken on metal piece that the muffler hangs from. I broke mine backing into my driveway.

 

ya mine was broken at 15k miles. luck for me i actually had a warrenty still and got it fixed free of charge.

i really thing i got a defected maxima. so many problems out the gate with it bein new

 

yeah me too, i was backing up the driveway then heard a clunck... driverside muffler metal clip.

 

yep, same here, driver side metal piece broke into 2 pieces, had it welded only to replace mufflers month later.
