Why not just rewire your fogs?

nmexmax, becasue the site i found from here is for the 5th gen. and there was no difinitive solution to be able to do what the module does.

on another note, im tempted to try housecors 5th gen idea to see if the colors even match up.

Because nobody has rewired them to operate through the OEM stalk switch. Some have rewired them to come on with the parking lights. But there are situations where you'd want them to be off. It looks like an affordable solution for getting that functionality and independant control of the fogs.

Very interested in that module, plus the window roll up module. Sadly the installation instructions for both are pretty involved. Looks like a professional install may be in order.

Im going to do this on my Pathfinder if the weather breaks this weekend...

I don't see why it wouldn't work on the Max.

I rewired my fogs on a hidden switch a couple of years ago...

I installed one of these on an '04 Max yesterday and it worked with no problems. It was a pretty involved installation, especially because we didn't have a guide to go by. I think if I had to do it again I could do it in under 2 hours.

Here is a link to details on the install:

+1 on what Kevin said. He used my car as a test car since I live in the Dayton, OH area and the module went wonderful. Along with the automatic tilt mirror module. Both modules are wonderful and he's got some great products. I plan on hooking up with him sometime soon and looking into some other modules he's got. I've got a 2004 Nissan Maxima! Will work!

but kc, if IIRC, you wired it to a seperate switch. the one from kevin is the utilization of the oem controller making it operate independently from the headlight.

We haven't set terms for the group buy but the module itself is the standard fog light module that is on our site.
