Hey guys

I have been having this problem with my navi screen coming on 15-20 mins later after my car has started. Took it to nissan and they have diagnosed that that the display connector unit is bad. I told them only happens when its cold outside. Summer time its fine, comes on no problem. I had this since I bought the car with warranty. They had changed a few connectors and display before, but the problem returns every winter. My car is now out of warranty, and Nissan wants close to a grand for this part. Is there anywhere else I can buy such a part?

I would call nissan customer care, if you have receipts that show you have brought your car in for this problem before (when your car was under warranty) and it was never fixed properly they should cover it now. The dealer should cover it under "good faith" as they never properly repaired the problem in the past.
