End-links again...and more

So I swapped the bushings today and it seems as if the front end-links are VERY close to the inner wall.

I put smaller bushing towards the strut, to give it a little more cushioning room compared to the bigger bushing being there.

and it also seems to be too close to the brake lines

The driver side is closer than the passenger side too, so

At first I zip-tied the brake line to the little hole in that wall, but then clipped it off because it was too tight. THEN, when I lowered the car I noticed that the end-links went up... so should I still be concerned of the tight fit or am I good?

and the pretty black Gorilla lug-nuts

Much easier to take wheels off without scratching them, and they will contrast my black 300zx calipers soon.

Looks pretty close, but as long as it's not touching you'll be fine. The stock endlniks touch the brake line as well however, it's how nissan did it for some reason. You'll be fine though.

It should be pointed out however the the bolt is close to the wall on all applications and was designed using the OEM and/or AGX strut. prjctmax has KYB's although the tab location shouldnt be far out form stock. if it is rubbing let me know and I'll send you 2 smaller bushings. since KYB's dont have the same clearance issues as the oem.

The 300zx calipers are awesome!! Not only do they look great, but they brake smoothly, and strongly. Oh, and the aluminum ones weigh 1/3 of the the iron ones!!!

How of me to not even notice my own thread...

front end-links= <1/4 gap on top/bottom

Lug-nuts=BLACK and they are all "lock nuts" since they require the special socket that came with it...and they are lighter lol I mainly got them so that I would not scratch/chip the wheels when taking off the OEM nuts...meaning that the Gorilla nuts are SMALLER

I'm going to check them again soon...but I noticed that when the car was let down, the suspension was compressed and those little "rub marks" don't seem to be from the end-links...so ? on what that is from. I put the ES bushings on both sides and it helped a little, but not by that much...so I just used all of your bushings, and it's been good for the time I drove it.

No noises or rubbing that could be heard, and more info in above posts^^

I say install ftw.

...now I want to adjust these so that the car is twitchy like all hell...so that I can really FEEL the car!

The circular pattern of the rub gives me the impression it is probably from a wrench swinging during the initial install. Just a guess though

Possible, but the movement was so minimal back there that I just held the wrench in place and I moved the nuts in the front.

Smaller bushing touching the strut...make sure both bushings are on one side though, so that they keep debris out of the end-link bearing.

Mine are all the same though and use only one key
_______

The "visual" is pretty much up there...the swiveling part with the rubber boot goes on the bottom and if you have KYB's, then the top part goes...bolt, washer, BIG bushing, end-link, SMALL bushing, strut, washer, nut

That should be pretty simple now^
