LED Swap Opportunity
LED Swap Opportunity
I have been working on changing out my interior lighting (LED's) from the yellow to the bright blue. I have already changed the door switches, air and heat controls and the radio controls. When I went into the info screen and the gauges the LED's are different and I am going to have to order a different style. After searching for three hours I found the correct ones and have to order a minimum of 2000 to get what I need.
Would anyone be interested in doing this mod and if so, just pm me to discuss the details. I will do this mod for less than what I have seen it offered for before. I am posting a couple of pictures but they are not good quality, I had to take with my phone cam because my camera is not working correctly.

I can't see anything
You'll have a hard time when replacing the LED's in your cluster. It's a pain in the a$$ to pull out the needles w/o damaging them... After that you will have to adjust them correctly while driving your car or at least the speedometer needle
Good luck

No, he probably hasn't, but have you? No, you've started it, and you haven't done the cluster or info screen yet, so who knows if your going to be able to get it done properly. Now i'm not saying you can't or won't, because i hope it works out for you, but I wouldn't get cocky until its ALL done and working. He's just trying to help you out, so chill out. And open YOUR eyes, there are no pics there.
I just wanted to give an idea about the needles Otherwise, i'm finisihing another similar project, so i know already some things about the LED swap...

I didn't mean to be rude or to offend anyone, guess I had a long night working on all of the mods that I am doing and I have tooooo many going at one time. I appreciate any advice anyone has to offer.
I am also debating a overlay for the gauges but I have not made up my mind. I saw one that had a set of leds behind the overlay and as the gauges increased so did the leds . Looked good but I have not found it for the max yet.
Again, I didn't mean to offend anyone.
