if by "film" you guys mean window tint, then that is not a good way to go...

window tint is not as flexible, or as malleable or stretchable as vinyl...

so vinyl is better than window tint, but in my honest opinion, nothing looks better than a set of nicely painted lights..

 

Where is the best place to get spray tint??
