Under my hood.

I just painted some plastic under the hood, my right side looks like it needs more color.
I’m not sure if I should go with red or silver.

agreed, a some chrome on a CAI would look good, but you could also paint the airbox that red, either way it looks good.

If he has a CAI the air box goes away. (not necessarily the intake over the radiator)

I have been working on mine on and off for the past couple of weeks and it is coming together I think. Waiting on my polished Injen CAI and I am still debating which STB to get. All of the above look really good especially yours Chern. Hope to have me a turbo in the near future.

The blue is darker than what it looks in the pictures and it is a anodized look on the finish and all silver pieces are metallic.

I used Dupli Color Metal specks and the clear top from Dupli Color as well, I’m acutely surprised how nice the color looks.

I painted the lettering first let it dry and then taped over the lettering and trimmed tape to the edges of the letters. Logo, just tape it up and cut out the letters. Apply alot of pressure to the tape so you can see the edge where to trim and use a very sharp knife. Someone else might direct you to an easier way but this works. Good luck with your project.

Have it sent to your work address, installed then if she asks, follow an age old mens phrase: Deny, Deny, Deny...
