Steering Creaking Noise

I just noticed today when I turn left there is a creaking coming from the front. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff...

Steering rack, strut mount, steering column. Spray some silicone in the joint under the dash if you think the column.

If its comming from outside, its not your column. Sounds like a strut mount as I have this issue as well. Sounds like rubber on rubber, or rubber on metal? I took my struts and springs off again this past week and greased everything. The issue is the bushing within the mount. Oh and by the way, if you look under the dash you will see that coulmn joint deep inside. Nothing to remove.

For me it's both...depending on the temperatures outside lol

I know it's my mounts and I am going to replace them soon...what EXACT part is the one that "breaks" the most?

Steering column also squeaks and I've looked down there before seeing the main joint, so I will def. put some grease on it.
