no one said that...

brembos are over rated as in price... there are cheaper ways for about the same stopping power..

They go from at least $1,500 and that's if you're lucky...close to $2,000 for the most part
Well, you may not be able to find it right this moment for that, but a diligent research each day may reveal a good deal for the Brembo set up. While $1,000 may seem cheap, I dont see any reason why it can't be had for close to that amount. Find a seller who needs cash and make lowball offer. I found my 300zx aluminum calipers for $80. It took a couple months of searching to find it. A bit of work pays off sometimes.

Better braking does NOT have to start with any BBK. If you want better braking get steel braided brake lines, performance brake pads (Hawk, EBC), and sticky tires. Also heres a small read.

Thats why I got the 300zx brakes. 20 pounds lighter, cheap, easy to find pads, really easy to change pads

I'll get the 300ZX once Matt makes the rear brackets

I knew that about BBKs...stopping from high speeds, reducing brake fade, less rotating mass, and the nice look were my main things...no where did I just say for "better braking"

I'll like to make a statement regarding those dust boots! The Brembo have dust boots for their multi-piston oem/aftermarket street calipers for a reason...To keep all the dirt and grime from destroying your calipers(aluminium). Let's face it... who wants to rebuild their calipers 3-4 times a year due to grime build up? See racers amatuer/grassroots/pro disassemble, inspect and rebuild various components many times a year in order to keep things running at it's best and to further the reliability of their machines. Unless you're racing competively, I see no need to ever install Fastbrakes Wilwood BBK on my 03. Brembo are warrantied for life...No one has mentioned that! Brembo's are matched to work with your Oem master cylinder, with non of the horry stories normally associated with other aftermarket BBKs. Let's face it...You get, what you pay for!!! Also yes Brembo offers a BBk for the fronts of 04-08, they're the same kit used on the 00-03! 12.9" x 1.1",W/4 piston calipers!

Because the wilwood bolt pattern will not lign up with the Nissan bolt locations. The brembos line up.

Now of course I am sure there are those who do need this extra stopping power (ie Chern), but I just gave my opinion that I will never pay for an expensive braking system as I don't have a need for it - as is the case with most of us.... agree?
There are different kits for different pockets (bank accounts)

I didn't want to spend money on brakes like my brother did so I went with 4-Piston over RotoPros.

He had more money to burn, so he went with 6-Piston over 2-Parts 13.6" rotors.

Both offer waaaaaaaaaay better braking over OEM. When I dropped my car off at the dealership recently, the advisor noticed the difference right away too. It does stop on a dime (provided you have the right combination of brakes and rubber of course)
