So you have a Cattman Y and Magnaflows but no cattback right?

First vid sounds like CAI all the way, thought I was in my car.
Second vid, my car does not sound like that at all! Very nice!

Me too, removed that crimp, didn't really notice a difference either way.

But I do have the Cattman Y sitting in my garage and the Nismo Catback Exhaust on the way. Looking forward to soundling like your car

Okay I am new to the Maxima's. Could you explain to me what the IMS and all of that stuff is. I came from owning a highly modded Evo to owning a Maxima and its totally different that what I am used to.

I want decent sound with better throttle response. My first mods will be a CAI and exhaust. Tell me more about these spacers please.

spacer kit raises the intake manifold and keeps it 40-50` cooler... cooler air... more power...

IMS stands for Intake Manifold Spacers. They eliminate the need for the stock poorly sized intake gaskets and lengthen the intake runners. Since they are made of a very durable type of phenolic, they reduce the intake manifold temps by an average of 40 degrees. This drastically decreases heat soak, which means that your car will not get so sluggish after an hour of city driving. No matter how much racing you do, your intake manifold will always be significantly cooler with the spacers installed.

The VQ35DE kit increases low end and midrange HP without sacrificing any top end performance.

In an effort to keep this thread on topic, if you have any more questions about our Thermal Intake Spacers, please post them in the thread below.
