YOU took the words right out of my mouth!! The chrome are sooo damn hott!!! Being that the Max doesnt have a lot of chrome in the back besides the roof strip this will boost the back up.... That is sick.. Kudos to you!!
omg i remember making that thing...it looked soo good in my head buh when i drew it out it wasn't as good as i thought...buh now with the finished product it looks awsome...you guys did a great job on them.
well so far in total I only have about 30 orders, not bad, but considering there were more than 90 people on the list

Now I think I should have ordered the 'black' ones to better match the smoke grey color of the whip. I am sure the red I did order will look good also, but it's hard to tell the difference between the smoke (which looks like chome) to me and the chrome (which looks white-ish). Hell, maybe I should have ordered 1 red, 1 black, 1 smoke and sent the other 2 back........Any input on the dark smoke grey car? Anyone have this color and put the LED Tails in yet??
If I remember correctly, there were no orders before he took it to IPCW. But he did give them the link to thread so they could see the 6th genners stirring....
As some of you guys might know already, lights are getting shipped out, I just dropped off half the orders, the other half is going out tomorrow,

The tails have resistors built in. I had the 3ohm for the front and back leds so once I hooked this up they didn't turn on. I took them off and it was fine but now I need to get 6 ohm's for the front.....
Those two pics are pretty cool!!! They were taken in the same spot about 2 years apart. It shows how motivation and guts can get things done, and the guys that designed these and Max2damax got it done.

EDIT: I called UPS 24 times today to make sure my tails are being handled properly
When you do the install, do you have to remove a trim piece also? I've seen the 2 bolts, but want to make sure I do it right. It just seems like the tail lights are tucked behind a piece of trim near the trunk.

How tough is it to get the tail light off? I was thinking of banging on the ends of the 2 bolts in my trunk with a rubber mallet. Any suggestions/tips on getting the tail off are greatly appreciated.
just installed yesterday, my suggestion is to tape the bottom like they have shown and when u take the rear screws off the whole taillight assembly will loosen up a bit enough for you to pull out towards you. Dont really recommend hitting with a rubber mallet because you got about 4 corner clips that need to be pulled out. I simply pulled from the top straight back towards me and it came off
