Guys, I just got of the phone with IPCW, people who have condensation issues please call 800.934.4599, she just gave me a lot of examples on how and when condensation can happen with a new install, please give them a call and they can help me out more than I can right now,

If you have condensation right now just take the connectors out, and let the tail air out until the condensation is gone, installed them back make sure that the rubber seal on the factory plug is in good condition and you shouldn't have the same problem again.

like i said i just got my tail lights today and i was puttin them on. i put the left side one on and then tested out the brake lights, turning signals, and reverse lights. i had 2 problems. so any1 who can help plz do.

1. when i put the reverse light on the l.e.d lights go off.
-i tried it 3 times and it did the same thing

2. i decided to just leave it for now and i put the tail lights on ready to bolt. tested it once more and they don't turn on what so ever. even when my bro hit the brake they wouldn't turn on.
-once again i tried it 3 times and it didn't work.

any1 offer a reason why its not working?

Black on black wire?, we had similar problems when we were installing the lights, make sure that you have a good connection and that the plugs are in the right way

Got my tails on today. Took me about an hour. One tip I think is to hold the bottom of the tail and bang on the top bolt with a rubber mallet. Worked great.

I installed LED reverse lights as well that fire straight back with 9 LEDs by jsmithsole's recommendation. I can't test them out yet since my wife isn't home...

I got some 921's from autolumination, which says they are compatible with our 906's. Wife just tested them out, and they didn't light up. Neither side lit up. Any ideas?

1/2 way down there is one with 9 LED's on the tip. As mentioned in my previous post, neither one lit up when the wife put it in reverse on me. Not sure what I did wrong, both tails work otherwise.

Thanks. Did you by chance touch the bulb or connectors with your bare hands? Oils are known to damage the bulb. Is it possible the connectivity is reversed (the wire on the bulb)? Is there a way to test them without them in the light. Just let them hang?

Take the bulb out and turn it 180 degrees, and plug it in again. When doing the 194 led bulbs on the interior you have a 50/50 chance of getting them right.
Turn em over and try again.

The bulbs were turned the wrong way on both sides apparently, man I have bad luck.

Again, on the above link I got the 9 LED on the tip super white 921/906 model. Works like a charm and is damn sharp. See below.

Just cuz its you Deus

DAMN...those are bright LED Reverse lights. I love the style. Looks like I'll be gettin mine here just in a few minutes. Thanks again for the link.

I take it you got the 'super white' / 'wide angle' kinda squared right?

Think I'm going to order a few 194's also here in a few. It appears one of my license plate lights is out.

Hilbe: which Reverse LED did you order...there are several different 921's and which ones will you be ordering for your license plate ones? There are different ones there too. Maybe you could tell me what the price is so I can narrow it down that way. Sorry for the questions.

Just ordered mine. Thanks again. I should get my 2nd pair of LED's (black) on Monday. UPS came today to pick up the damaged (1st pair) Red. This way with the Smoke Grey (dark) I'll see what the black looks like and see how the color flows with it and then do the lights. I paid the extra shipping for 1-3 days so I can do it all at once and not in 2 weeks when the lights get here. Thanks again for the info.

Installed the new LED tails 30 minutes after I got done picking the car up after the tranny upgrade. They look amazing at night but not bad in the day either, here they are on Red Heat...

Thats one thing nice about the 194's. They fit in a lot of places. If they don't fit there, I'll put them someplace else.

I had the red (passenger side) one on just to tease me a little then realized the drivers side was broke, and now I am itchin to get my blacks. ARGH...damn tracking numbers...lol....I hope they aren't on that same ship as we all were waitin on before......
