Tell them that all orders are taken directly through the website at:

I'm sorry you are having these problems. I would find another shop to do the install for you this go around. Make sure they read the instructions and fully understand that RTV sealant much be carefully applied to both sides of the 4 spacers. Show them the Elbow spacer that doesn't need to be installed.

Do not hesitate to contact me if any questions come up. [aaron@nwpengineering.com]
Roger that Aaron!

Thanks again bro! I will surely take into account what you said about the sealant. I am about 100000% sure that the one spacer I have doesnt even have it on either. Wow that just upsets me that much more

That is a pic of the 02-03 Maxima, which does not have an EGR system.

UPDATE: The shop held up to their words and reimbursed me the money for the kit and I received the second kit this afternoon. Tomorrow I will be taking her back to the shop because they trusted my word and didn't even bother looking under the hood to see if I was Bs'in them. Plus they will install my HID kit for free!! lol

Once again... thanks alot Felix and Aaron for the support on this one!!

Just cover your butt this time and make sure they do the job right. I would even ask if you can watch during the install. Most mechanics hate that, but they may allow it. But honestly, I would never take my car back to this shop. This is not a tough install by any means and to screw it up as much as they did should raise a big red flag.

I hope it all works out for you. If you need any assistance, please do not hesitate to call or email me.

Nissan is starting to go with plastic resin intake manifolds on pretty much every new model. Heat soak is drastically reduced because of it.

Me too!!

The whistle sound scared me at first. I called Chernmax super fast but he said its normal. lol

Is that only with AM Intake Manifold or does the OEM produce the same sound?

Not everybody's VQ35 will whistle noticeably. It heavily depends what intake tubing setup you have. Cause every intake will whistle to some extent. But these spacers seem to increase the volume of any intake noise you currently have.

But, I do not advertise the change in intake tone b/c results will vary. Plus, I want to appeal to the customers that actually want a performance gain, not those who want to hear it whistle, even though it does sound pretty aggressive.

Little side note: The test vehicle (02 Maxima 6spd with POP Charger) did not whistle at all. It just got deeper as NmexMAX mentioned.

I saw an increase, but it is probably because I also replaced my spark plugs, so I cannot give a conclusive answer on that.

We have not proven an exact increased in gas mileage, but considering where in the powerband you are gaining the majority of the power, then yes, you should gain gas mileage. But I wouldn't expect more than 1mpg increase honestly.
