Before I Spend the Money....
So I called 2 Nissan Dealers in my area and they said the '07 Spoiler CANNOT be put onto my '04. When I asked why- they responded the rear trunks were supposedly different and it won't fit.....? I've sent PM's to 2 different members on here with the '07 spoiler on a 2004/ 2005.- no response for over a week. Does anyone know if this is a load of crap- I have a guy who has done a ton of spiler and car body work- Will I run into any problems installing or getting the brake light to work on the spoiler?

If you currently have NO spoiler then it will bolt right up, but if you do have a spoiler then two holes will need to be filled from the other spoiler after the 2007 spoiler is put on.
Cliffs-It will fit

brake light will be no issue body man knows how to do it ...or u can figure it out your self its common sense.... if your 04 came with a lil lip then like they said go to a body man and get it filled and put the 07 on!! if no lip on the trunk then just get it put on!! dealer is lying !!!! i'm suprised they didn't tell you, you had to but the whole trunk with the spoiler lol

If you have a 2004-2006 SL, they normally don't have trunk spoilers like the SE, if you have no spoiler then the 07 spoiler will POSITIVELY FIT!!! I guarentee 1,000,000 percent!!!
If you have an 2004-2006 SE you will have to remove the OEM spoiler like stated above. ^^^^^^^
Stand your ground mister and tell the Nissan dork workers it WILL fit and when your finished you can drive by and show them...
Better yet, print a picture of one of the many 04-06 owners who have them installed already in case the caveman don't take "YES IT WILL" for an answer.
This is Jsmith fly 2004 SL with not only the 07 Spoiler but he even installed the 07 rear bumper on his 04 with no modification.

Hey thanks alot guys- quick response times too- appreciate it. Just got back from college last night and I'm finally able to do all the modding I've planned for so long. Thanks for the picture Chernmax! My black SE has no spoliler so as some of you also mentioned- no holes will be plugged which is nice. I plan on going with SpoilerDepot.com for the spoiler w/ their OEM paint match option, for a total of about $245. Don't know if any of you have had experiences with them? again thanks to everyone!

One more spoiler question, once installed does removing the interior 3rd breaklight leave a weird little area with an indentation and a small hole or is it somehow easy to cover up with no trace it was ever there?
I went to an inspection facility in NJ that told me because I have tints and a 3rd break light on the interior he couldn't pass me. So I asked him what if I have a 3rd breaklight on the exterior on the spoiler? He told me if I had both the exterior & interior one he would still have to fail me, because there was one behind tinted glass. He said the only way I could pass was if I only had the exterior one with the interior one removed.

Actually, rims can make ur car go a lot faster. If ur rims weigh less, you get better acceleration from a stop. If ur rims are wider, you can put wider tires on which, in turn, give you much better traction.

lol but isn't it that in most cases u wouldn't feel too much of a difference unless ur at higher speeds (100+) as opposed to what the law wants us to do , beside what u said about traction deus?
