2005 Maxima with 07 HID Headlights

Today one of my 07 HID Headlights arrived for my 2005
Maxima SE and the results are in below. "The first 2005
Maxima with a complete 07 Front end" OH! An for the folks with
"Super" observant eyes. The second pic below shows the light
not completely installed, just wanted to point that out before
anyone questions the gap or alignment of the headlight to fender application.

You saw it here first

Fastmax05! Love the since of humor and thanks for the comment.
I still have a long list of mods to complete, so that I can capture that

Everything was purchased off ebay one item @ a time. Took about 3 months of daily searching to find the 07 Hood which had very little damage for $100.00. The Headlights where purchased off eBay in Brand New condition for $200.00 a piece and that was from two separate sellers. Can't beat those prices compare to what the dealership wants!!! I actually purchased two 07 front bumpers off eBay for 49 to 100 bucks awhile back. So it all work out great to just change out the entire front end. OH! An my 07 Rear Bumper is @ my boys shop just awaiting for me to install it. Deus! It's much cheaper doing it this way. L.O.L!!

All you need is the 07 side sills, since they are bulkier then the 04.

Farzin! Here are those finished pics of my 05 Maxima with an 07 Hood, 07 Bumper and "New" 07 Headlights. The hood needs bodywork repair in a few areas, which I'll complete today. It sucks that I can't paint it yet until Lowes replaces my fairly "NEW" Air compressor that had help being slighty damage by a friend. I'm not sad though because Lowes is Replacing it for free!
F.Y.I, if you purchase a Air Compressor that's over $700.00 make sure it has a great warranty.

Very nice! As Kam suggested, the side sills will make your car an 07+.

Very sharp, however I am a fan of the 04-06 heads instead of the 07s but I love what you have done...keep it up.

Thread jacking? L.O.L!! The ride looks great, but open up a new thread so you can get separate replies. Love the new look of that 07 front bumper instead of the 2004-2006 any day. The 07 Headlights look so much better in my opinion!

Dude! I'm so kidding with you, Please! Post all you want man. I was really just kidding with you. I truly like the appearance of your ride with the 07 Front Bumper and can't wait to see the headlights as well. "Everything's cool like a Eskimo Pie".

What about something like these for the fogs...would something like this work? Their supposedly HIDs too.

Hey Guys
Im new here and i have a 08 Maxima SE
It came with the original Halogen lights but i went and bought the a set from Nissan of the Xenon HID lights Headlights assembly on ebay and was wondering is it possible to install these without frying the wiring inside.
I've had some dealers tell me its a possibility on frying the wiring inside since its not originally the HID lights.
But i saw the pics from that person who installed the 07 lights on his 05 and they looked like the original Halogen lights as well.
Appreciate any info given
Heres the link to those items from ebay

All 04-06' Maximas are plug and play, so i believe the 07-08' would be the same...

BTW, you are darkness48?

.

Yes thats what one of the seller told me is that its plug and play.. so as long as they dont burn up the wires inside.. thats all im really worried about.
But i did find a couple other items on ebay that say i need some kind of kit. can somebody take a look at theses and tell me if i need this.
FYI
just a username i had to make up because i was not 18 when i setup the account many years ago.

Thanks
Any these replies are good guys..
