HELP...Check out my brake line

Need help...saw this when i was working on my breaks... Only the left front wheel has this problem. What do you guys think might have caused this? I am pretty sure that the tires are not touching it when it is turned at any angle. Also, is it true that i have to pay for TSB to be performed on my car? because thats what the stealership told me...

Thanks in advance

I would say maybe it's rubbing on the wheels when turning (in motion) you may not see it when up on jackstands. And as for TSB, depending on what it is it should be covered as far as I know.
And damn the underside of your car is nasty!!

I thought a TSB was only covered while you were under warranty.

Yes TBS repair will be free only if you're under warranty. But then again dealers will always try to avoid doing any TBS repair with saying no need for doing that job and everything is normal unless you show them your gun on the spot. Their main aim is to wait wait and wait when customer run out of factory warranty and then they will show you all repair TBS without even you ask for one.

Please prove me wrong above so I can go and slam doors of my dealer where I perform some repair work.

lol, we get lots of rain here in vancouver
i wish i had the time and energy to clean it

so do you guys think its a DIY job or do i need to be robbed by the stealership?
do u guys think replacing the brake line would solve the problem? cuz i dont want to be replacing them again.
its too much of a gamble to drive a car thats rubbing the brake line, i am only 20 u know...

since i have a 04 max and has about 65000km
i will have to dig in my pocket to have the TSB done, correct?
referring to the TSB document in http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=562963,
even if its published in 07 the you-are-not-under-warranty-anymore rule still applys right ?

its only free if its a recall...tsb are for technicians like me, its just a kinda hint in the right direction of what more common issues are, not freebie fixes
