Drill the cap hole.
PLUg the round rubber thingy through the cap hole.
Smear di-electric grease on the rubber thingy.

I personally did not want to drill the cap, so I just cut the HID wires, and I passed them through the original holes, and then re-soldered the HID wires and used some heat shrink tubing. That way, I did not drill the cover (but I cut the wires). Do what you prefer...

I did the same as Kryogen. Cut the HID bulb wires. Put them though the original grommet. Soldered with electronics solder with a high silver content. Then heat shrink tubing over the soldered area to seal everything up nicely. I think that was like 2 years ago. No issues since.

You do realize you answered a question that was already answered almost a year ago?
