Any recent news on the Racingline Exhaust items?

I remember reading something a few months back about headers or a y-pipe from Racingline Performance, and I just thought I'd inquire as to any recent news from that department.

Thanks in advance,

Steven

they are being welded up this week. The flex sections did not arrive on time (go figure), and that was the reason for the delay. But the shop has all the parts and will hopefully have some ready end of the week, if not then next.

it will be like the old CE design, but will be full 304 stainless, and will have a lined flex section. The old CE pipes were 409 stainless(cheaper) and had standard braided flex sections

Correct, these will be "cat-less". Since removing a functional Catalytic converter is illegal and since the car will still pass emissions without the 3rd cat, it was our choice to offer only the one version since it offers better power production.

If someone should wish to have a cat for whatever reason, we also offer METAL CORE high flow cats for a very reasonable price. Perhaps I will create that as an add-on option for a further discount over our standard retail ( would need to be welded in by muffler shop)

There will be NO SES/CEL lights

You WILL pass a smog test

ALL Y PIPES, HEADERS, etc are illegal. Legally speaking you may not remove your stock cats for any reason other than a failed part. Then it must be replaced by an OEM part(for ODB2 cars which the 5th and 6th gens are)).
