Definition... Obsessed: influenced or controlled by a powerful force such as a strong emotion

You have to be obsessed with the Maxima, it's in the definition... "Powerful Force"...duh!!!

I love "AfterBurn"!!!!! See yah....

I'm definitely obsessed with mine... i just started the modding game and really can't stop... Everyday when i park it close to the subway, i'm not lying i turn around at least 4 to 5 times just to look at it and make sure it's parked faaaarrr away from other cars, even though some dumba$$es do managed to get close to it and sometimes do bump my bumpers, that's why i installed the rear bumper guard on my bumper. saved me at least a couple hundreds dollars by now. I don't really like it that much, i mean it doesn't stick out that bad cause it blends in with the paint, but i would rather it be there than it getting scratched up. My gf complains that i spend so much time cleaning it and worry about it too much. I think she's jealous of me and Maximus I really really really really like this body style. I think it's the best one nissan ever came up with and i did own a 1987 maxima before this and i used to think that one was the best body style. I'm not a big fan of the 2009 maxima so far. i guess that will have to grow on me.

LOL this thread should be called Maxiholics lol. Hell I'll be the first to sign in and attend the sessions... but not the rehab though. I bought mine (First Maxima) last month, and I tell ya... I LOVE IT. The Maxima has luxury, shape, style and sexyness. I wash it at least 2 times a week, and wipe downs in between washes when I notice anything got on it (dust, bird crap, etc). My sis has an 03 Altima... I drove it few times, and just decided to get a Maxima because I always thought it was better in so many different ways. Oh well... I admit, I'M HOOKED.

Thank God I'm not married... no rings, no strings, no offsprings.... phew

I do the same when I go out for lunch with people from work. They always get pissed because I park at the very end of the parking lot. When we come out there are at least 5 cars around my car. They always laugh that my car is like a magnet.

This is my third max I've owned. The other two I didn't obssess over. This one I have to a level that is frightening to some who ask about my car.

I try to park as far away from others as many of you do. I avoid 18 wheelers and bad road ways. But for some reason, with this particular car, it has become a magnet for road debris.

I had the Y pipe bar bent towards the ground and the piece of the frame it goes into ripped off by a full size tire laying in the road. I still need to get it fixed before I buy the cattman header/y pipe/catback. I'm hoping a exhaust shop can fix it.

I've had a metal bar flying thru the air hit the front bumper caving in the corner below the light assembly.

Some weird rubber piece hit my car and left a hicky on the other side of my front bumper.

And some big chuck of metal thrown at the side of my car stratching the hell out of it.

ALL OF THIS IN 4 WEEKS!!

But I continue to obssess and hope to spend more money on upgrades and less on fixing unwanted problems.

I love my max, and everyday i look out the window at work to just see who is parked next to me incase i see a ding, i know who to go after. This is my first nissan ever and im very happy with it. I come from chevy's and this max kicks chevys ***, except a corvette of course. Cant wait to save some cash for some mods.

I freakin love my maxima. To tell you the truth, i just had it inspected and liscenced (95' GLE) and Drove it for one day and the starter went, but it was the best day of driving i ever had in a car. I'm gonna do the conversion to 5 speed and I'll love it even more. I was it OFTEN, walk by it and rub my hand along it, i love my max. When i go to buy a new car, i'm going straight to Nissan no questions asked.

1995 GLE - CAI, Kenwood system, more mods to come

I think I'm obsesed. This is my 4th Maxima and I traded a Q45 for this one. (2007) I really missed my Maxima. Take it from me Infiniti is just a name because the car is not all that compared to a MAX!
