painting headlights mod

I would like you guys opinion. I have the blue 04 max and wanted to do the headlight mod, but was wondering would it look better painting them black or try matching the same color of the body? Anyone have a blue max with the lights painted?

not yet tails now are stock. i think i'm going to get the new tails that are on this site..
I was thinking black myself also, since there is accents of black throughout the outside of the car. I was just thinking the blue would look 'similiar' to how the F150 lights look

we know black lights good so if you are willing to try something new I would love to see your car with blue paint.

Btw , where did you get those lights under your car? I seen many bippu cars with them and would love to get em for my car.

I think i'll do blue, hopefully i can find the BW9 paint so it would match perfect. Anyone knows where to get it, please let me know.

- The lights are puddle lights, only come on when i unlock the doors. they are fairly cheap. I got them from http://lxaccessories.com/index.php?cPath=22_27
they where about $25 bucks. Me and my mechanic installed them in about 30 mins.

blue wont work.
if you just paint them straight up with blue paint. the light wont make it through. you'd have to mix the blue within the clear. thus making the blue color a more translucent color (just like what you do when you tint the tail lights black) and when you do that, it will be a different shade of blue and wont match.

i agree though. the idea of having it blue would be bad ***. but ive tried it before on some other cars, and it just doesnt work out the way you want it to.
