I do have a question though.I have the same Eibachs and after I got it all put back together I have this "clunking" noise mainly from the passenger side.Have you experienced any noises? Does anyone have any idea what would cause this? I took it to a mechanic friend and he looked at it and didnt see anything wrong.I thought I was very careful taking it apart,I guess I forgot something.
hey that noise is ur bearin plate cheap 15 dollars but have to take the strut back out again and all that

KYB gr-2s are not performance struts guys, little better then factory but not much. If you have little miles on your factory struts, no need to replace them unless you want to. Factory struts will handle just fine.

Does anyone have the torque numbers for every bolt that will be affected when doing these mods?

Great write up. I've been thinking of lowering mine on the Eibach springs too after I install my Magnaflows but I do have the concern of scraping the car. It only happened once and that was because there were five people in the car weighing in at a total of 950 lbs or so. It's an 04 SE with 72k miles should I just get the KYB GR-2s too? And how's the stiffness compared to the stock SE shocks? I don't mind the stiffness, if anything I'd like it slightly more so or enough to prevent the car from dropping too much if I have more passengers.

Coilovers and stock camber bolts

Hi everyone I’m new here. I see people have lowered their Maximas, but can’t seem to find anyone with Coilovers. I am thinking of lowering it just enough in the rear to sit about 1/4” down over the tire and sit about 1/4” above the front tire. Does anyone know if my stock camber bolts will allow for a proper alignment? If not what types of Camber bolts is everyone using? Btw, I have a smoke metallic 2004 maxima (even though the K11 color code didn’t come out til 2005)..
