Any interest in a LED Strip Group Buy.*pics update*9-17

I'm trying to gauge interest in a new 100 led strip per 12"
At the moment, they only offer these in Amber and Red. They are coming out w/ a white 99 led strip soon.
The strip can be cut down every 5 leds to fit anywhere and then those cut pieces can be soldered into another strip. They come w/ 19" of "D" housing to aid in the mounting process.
The bad news, at the moment they are $60 each. Hopefully, w/ enough interest we can get that price down.
Here's a quick mount I did to my 04 lights. No cutting required for this mount.
Head light is still open, so if someone wants to see what it could look like mounted in a different position, let me know, and I'll take some pics.
I also, have an opened 07 headlight, so let me know where you might want to see it on there also.

There is also the option of adding a dual circuit, to make them light dim, bright, dim, bright, when the turn signal comes on.

I've been looking for those individually or in a strip. Haven't found em yet. They're pretty large for led's maybe 20 to 40mm. The largest I've found are 10mm square individual ones.
Also, the size of the Audi ones would probably block out alot of the headlight.

that looks awesome, I'd hate to open my lights as I have a huge amt of moisture in the drivers side from installing HID's... and somehow I will totally eff it up.

I would buy you can put me on your list. White preferable, but amber would be acceptable also.

I like this one. I wouldn't want to look like the Audi, i rather it be different

Blue will get you noticed for sure. Especially the cops.
They don't like blue on the outside of the car.
If you just want them for car shows/ meets I can ask if they would do a blue.

If your comfortable w/ baking the headlights, it shouldn't be too difficult.

i would be in.....2008 Maxima SL here so you think it would be ok for me...i would put the strip where you got it but instead be white....is it possible i could keep it connected through a running day light? is that how you got yours' set up? or comes on when you turn the headlights on.

You can run the wire to the parking light so its on w/o the headlights and on when the headlights are on. With the ambers you can get a dual circuit so it fuctions as an actual amber turn signal.

Once you do the bake once, it should only take about an hour to open em back up. However, these leds have 3m double sided tape on the back to mount to the front of the light, and you could tuck the wires under the bumper. But, they could easily be stolen also, if someone knew what they were and just ripped them off.

Thanks for the bump of this post.
I forgot to show an updated pic of it actually installed. I didn't use the weatherproof tubing that comes with it. Just installed w/ double sided tape and sandwiched between headlight outer lens and interior housing.

Btw, the upper light is just our standard led switchback w/o the reflector and its housing blacked out. Here's a short video to show the optional dual circuit. Makes it blink bright, dull, bright, dull.

They should fit fine. The stip is 12" long, and can be cut down every 5 leds, or .6". When I get more in I'll test fit it on the 07headlight I've got opened up in my garage.

What I do know at the time, is the 12" strip pictured only comes in 100 count leds in Amber and Red w/ 1mm spacing in the near future, but they do have a white strip available in 60count w/ 3mm spacing right now and is supposed to be brighter, because of its white color. I'll have more info in the next couple days.

Alright, group buy will be avaiable in a weeks time. Anyone interested in ordering please send me a "Private Message" w/ what you need and I will send you your own invoice to take care of this. These prices are good until Oct. 15th, 2008.

The product offered will be the Amber 12" strip w/ dual intensity circuit. Reg. price $60 for strip +$5 dual circuit= $65 + ship. .org price is $55 including shipping to the lower 48 states
Kit includes 1' Ft. Amber LED Array, 19in Clear tube with double sided automotive grade tape on back, 8 clear end caps, 3' 26 GA wire.
***Dual Intesity circuit is included w/ each strip to allow the amber light to act as the turn signal. (bright, dim, bright, dim, bright... ect...)
**19" clear tube does not need to be used if placed inside of headlight housing. Tube is only used for exterior installations to provide waterproof housing to the led strip.**
*Can be made into 20 separate LED arrays-
This can cut every 5 LEDs and solder pads are on the back to attaches wire.

The White, Blue or Green are more expensive even though they only have 60 leds per 12"s. These will not require the dual intensity circuit. The Reg. Price is.$79.00 + ship for 12" section. .org price is $69 with Free shipping to the lower 48 states. Kit Includes 1 Ft LED Array (60 LEDs/ft), 19in Clear Tubing w/adhesive, 6 Clear Endcaps, 6 ft wire leads. This can cut every 3 LEDs and solder pads are on the back to attaches wire.

Every 12" section of these leds comes with 19" of clear tubing to create a waterproof light if used on the exterior of the car.
These flexible strips are capable from flexing front to back, not left to right. (when looking directly at the light source)
Pricing is per strip. One strip will only modify one headlight. Order accordingly.

If you are interested in other colors for your lighting, there is a 7 color switchable led lighting solution available. PM me for more information

At the moment, I only have an example for the amber strip placed inside an '04 Maxima headlight. In a weeks time, I will have an example of the white strip situated into the new GTR Prototype front bumper.

The Blue or Green are Illegal in most states. As far as I know, you would have to hook them up to a switch to have them on only when your parked.
I hope to have pics of the 60 ct white leds this next weekend set into my new gtr concept bumper as an external light source to show the possibilities of these leds without having to place them behind the "glass" of the headlights.
More to come.....
