I want to upgrade my tail lights and I want your opinions on these:

to answer you last question, you can't replace the bulbs, but the lights do come with a one year warranty.

great pictures...these tail lights definately worth the money...i just installed mine yesterday and they look great...if you got precision grey...i think you should get either black or smoke (my 2cents)...and there's no bulbs you got to replace...the only bulb you will be using is your reverse light bulb...

 

You can find them cheaper through max2damax. I think $319 shipped... right max???

 

Ahhhhhhh I see said the blind man to his deaf wife, so that is why there is a thread talking about an LED Reverse Light. Next to lowering my Maxima, I definitely want these bad boys. Maybe there will be a Christmas Special out or something lol.

Thanks for the input guys. The tail lights are identical but ezkoncepts are a little bit cheaper. I think I'm gonna get the smoke color from them. The blk ones are just too dark, kinda ruins the colour balance with the headlights (I sound like a fashion *****.)

 

I will get them, waiting for the stupid Boeing Strike to end and my stock to go back up so I can sell sell sell and buy buy buy some LED Tailights lol.

 

How would you think it would look if i bought red led tail lights and just got a full smoke over the whole tail light instead of getting the black ones, so basically the whole tail light is smoked but when braking or whatnot you only see the led lights. get me? i think it's a hot idea. btw, does anyone know where i can get vinyl overlays or film? i don't know. i was looking at these but not to sure . . .

You can get a can of VHT Tint Spary and tint them yourself. Just takes a little time and some TLC.

 

Yeah i was thinking about getting it from bat but i'm gonna ask him if he can do an opaque black finish on it. and basically i'm just saying to buy the red led tail lights and putting an overlay on it, a dark one. get me? lol.

And about the tint spray is that i might have to take it off if anything you know, so i'd rather have an overlay or film. thanks for the idea though.

Gollum, i see you're gonna beat me to this mod man. I was thinking about getting these myself, the black ones though. I just bought the Active Tuning grill waiting for it to be painted... When are you planning on getting your tail lights?

 

OT but did u get the active tuning s41.. i heard it was still back ordered... or did you get the active tuning Fake on ebay?

 

Na, believe it or not they actually did had a bunch on their site. Only this time round they don't take custom orders meaning you can't request your color for the grille to be painted. So i had to by on of their presprayed colors, majestic blue with the black diamond mesh and i'm getting it painted prob next week.

 

Fast, i just check back their site and they only have one left. Majestic blue with black oval mesh... damn those things sold like hot cakes

 

Why are they so expensive? Because the grille is pre painted or what?

Yea, it's because these come prepainted. Before they used to let you custom order the grille based on whatever color your car was... But now they became stingy with the customization. Basically you have to buy what they have on the site. It's BS because if they don't have your car color you still have to pay some place to paint it for you. But i got a good quote from this place not too far from me, $78 for the frame to be repainted with the color to match my car. The only reason why i wanted to get this grille so bad is because it's fits your car existing mounting brackets and it's a whole lot better looking that the fake ebay one. It's a fiber glass frame... and the mesh doesn't resess as far in as the fake ebay one.
