The Letter A
The autoparts store should sell a double stick tape which is black and has a red peel off layer on it. That tape is what is used to stick on emblems and molding. Only thing is that you have to peel off all the old tape from the "A" and cut the new tape into an "A" shape. I guess an exacto knife would work if you traced the "A" onto the tape.
Don't use Epoxy. You'll NEVER be able to get it off without damaging the paint in case you ever want to debadge the car.

My 05 Maxima had the same problem, I went through the dealership car wash and as I was drying the car the letters X and I came off leaving MA MA. I went to the dealership to ask them what to use, they said that their new set of the MAXIMA emblem has 3M tape on it, I emailed 3M to figure out which tape to get and they emailed me back. They told me to use 3M Nameplate Repair Tape Part# 06385. I found it off ebay pretty cheap. 3M also recommends to use 3M adehesion promoter Part# 06396. I did not use the promoter, but cleaned it the best I could, be careful not to scratch the paint while wiping the area clean like I did. Make sure to get all the sticky stuff off the letter A and the car before putting the new tape on or the tape will not stick on strongly. It has been over a year now with no problems. I have been through car washes and winter weather. Good Luck. If you have any questions let me know.
