Techosquare ecu question

tried asking my fellow 5.5 guys and never got an answer..maybe you guys can help..

I plan on getting my car dyno'd in the next few weeks and was planning on getting the TS flash afterward. If I provide them with my a/f ratio, can they tune the ECU for for optimum power? Or should I just get the standard flash they offer?

Provide run-files and they will get you a more precise tune.

Code was engine misfire. When I was at the muffler shop, I found an O2 sensor wire melted on the header. I tucked it back up, so we will see if that threw the code. I noticed it running poorly at idle and when I cracked the throttle open slightly.

I never gave them anything and they still gave me a, what I consider, a good tune.

Dues, get me some more Cipher files, still waiting

What do you mean by "standard flash"?

I thought their AF adjustment is all customized to your mods, current AF, etc.

IIRC, they have a F-Spec flash which is usual TB opening, rev limit, etc. plus AF and L-Spec which is the usual items but with no A/F.

idk thats why i am asking. if the car was stock would they tune the ecu differently than a car that has headers/intake/exhaust? what if i dont have run files for them to go by?
