Magnaflow's #14816 with resonator #10436

Ill Maxima this one is for you man. I hope this will help with your decision with your set up. The difference between my set up and Veniality's is my resonator. My set up sounded exactly like his before the replacement. Again with the smaller resonator you will get some of the interior noise back. When the car is idle,<1000 rpm's sound is good. Between 1500-2000 rpm's it gets a little loud but it's tolerable. First vid you can tell I have the deeper tone. Second vid, the damn wind started to blow so sound kinda suffers. If you have a subwoofer on your PC/Mac you can really hear the exhaust good.

I wanted to do one but I couldn't find a safe place to do it. I had so much trouble with background noise the mic on my cam pics up everything that's why I made this vid early in the morning and I still had trouble with the wind.

Hey Gollum, you mean to say if i will replace my resonator like you have , the sound is a bit louder? right now the in cabin sound is fine, but not the same as the original muffler.

I think the cabin noise was about the same with the original resonator. The sound was exactly like yours and it was good. That bad boy is pretty big and it pretty much kills all the sound. If you are picky with noise, the problem you will have is during acceleration and 1st and 2nd grear. My guesstamation is about %30 increase between those grears. Above that everything is cool. Gotta remember Veniality the Magnaflow is smaller than the original. It's basically your 3rd muffler.

So the answer is yes V. You have the exact set up as I do and your Max will exactly sound like mine with the Magnaflow #10436

BTW your system sounds awesome man! I think that's the sound i want. Dont want anything too loud and ricey. For $70 man that's a whole lot better than the $400 + shipping cattman system i was gonna order.

Can i ask you one more favor man. Can you take a video of inside the cabin while you're driving so i can hear the tone from inside? Thanks Gollum.
