1st and last post needed in this thread:

yes.
very slight and it's mainly just noise but a dyno will show a slight increase throughout the RPM band. a CAI is even better but again it's just an intake and mainly just noise.

Mods, please close this thread. We have enough threads on CAI's and which is best.

For a 5th gen owner you sure dispense alot of info on the 6th gen forum. R u interested in buying a 6th gen or just increasing your post count?

I like to educate people whenever i can about air intakes. it makes me lolz. sorry if i'm set trippin homie

And no i probably will not ever buy a 6th gen, just not my style of car, i might buy parts of a 6th gen though for my 5th...also my gf, as of spring, might pick one up but i'm trying to get her into an alty SE-R. a 7th gen will be my next car assuming they release it with a 6 spd. otherwise i'll switch to inifiti or another luxury brand car with a decent mod scene behind it. i have more i'm going to do to my 5th before i buy a new car: 6pd swap + turbo. when she's a garage/weekend queen i'll pick up new car for a DD. i already have 2 maximas and can't really drive 3...well practically at least
