Hey everyone. i have an 04 silver max and im in the market for rims. just wanted to hear some opinions on whether i should get em in silver or black.. thanks in advance

 

I say black...FTW. (but I am biased a bit)

 

choose your theme. are you going to black out something like jsmith? i have a silver max and I'm slowly blacking too. I did the grill and the headlights, but I'm leaning toward a two tone rim. maybe black rim with a silver lip. whatever you choose silver looks great with both. Enjoy

I thing chrome looks better with a silver max unless you plan on dressing it out like J with other black themes. J you should show him some of your other pictures with chrome rims also since you've done both.

 

I like the chrome look as you can tell, although my boy has some silver tsw rims on his silver camry se that look real nice.

o yea and to contribute to the thread I think you should go with black wheels

Chrome in my opinion is way to boring...However if your just going to buy rims and no other mods then silver or chrome. But if you plan on modding your car a silver with a black theme is nice.

Silver is one of those colors that can go black or chrome.
I think that if you have a dark car silver or chrome is better, then the same with a lighter colored car with black or gunmetal. Its your choice so pick one and stick to it.

 

get these type of wheels!!!! They look awsome!!! Wish I have money, I would be rocking some wheels like these.

Rims are one of those mods that really shows your personality so get a set that you like. Doesn't matter what we say.

 

thank u all so much for all the input.. im kinda leaning towards the black or maybe silver. chrome is nice but not my style but nice rims anyhow. and dont worry kcmaxx i was laughing for about 5 minutes straight .. max2damax i love ur rims no joke but dont have 1700 on me right now but hey maybe in a lil bit ill pm. thanks again everyone for ur input.

Go with the blacked out look, it looks good on the silver. Mine is silver too and i put black rims, blacked out the grill, tail light and the corners in the head light and it looks awsome.

 

If you going to go black, I think it looks best with some additional black accents, i.e. ^
