Heated Seats and Wheels... Oh My!

The worst part about having a semi-junker / older car is NOT having nicer amenities which take the bite out of winter. My 2004 Maxima 6 speed is the first car I've owned which has heated black leather seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel and remote door locks -- AND I LOVE IT! My older cars, including my 1998 Nissan Maxima 5 speed, would frequently have frozen door locks in the winter, which made it HELL to get to work on time. Now, with my remote door opener / keyfob, the doors have NEVER frozen shut on my '04 Max. Sometimes, if the rear door isn't lubed properly, it won't latch shut until the car is warm... but I just spray it down to avoid the problem. A bit off-topic, I know. BUT: The single most impressive feature to clients who get a ride in my vehicle is the heated leather seat. With respect to comfort: The 8 way power adjustable leather seat in my '04 Maxima is the most comfortable seat I've ever used -- it's more comfortable and firm than my couch! Kudos to Nissan -- I will DEFINITELY have a third Maxima -- as soon as a manual transmission is added!

You lucky 6/5 gen owners we 4 gen owners don't have a heated steering wheel and heated seats are a rare option. My hands are literally frozen every morning

Heated seats are ok, but that steering wheel must be a dream to have
