Help! Got new tires, now I have a humming motor noise

I finally had to get new tires for my 05 and replaced my RSAs at 43,000. I got Continetials ContiExtremeContacts 245/45 18s. Now I am getting a humming motor noise from the engine when I take hard turns, when the car floats up (like hitting a dip in the road and you launch a little) or when braking hard. My ABS is also kicking in a lot more. It's not tire noise and it does not seem as though I am losing traction or skidding. It's fine when I accelerate hard and I get no noise when I start the car, put it in gear or when it shifts. Can anyone help with this one? It's freaking me out.

Sounds like something is rubbing. Maybe when they put the tires on, they popped one of the plastic rivets from the wheel well liner and it's coming in and rubbing your tire.

Do you hear the sound when turning right and left? Or just one way? My guess is that it's on one of your front wheel wells because it does it when braking hard, when the front suspension is under load and you lose clearance between the front wheel well and the tire.

It does not sound like rubbing and I looked at the wheel well. It sounds like a faint humming motor, like it's pumping or something.... could it be the ABS or motor mount? I check the disk temps on all 4 sides, front driver 96, driver rear 71, front pass 101, pass rear 102? not sure if that helps or provides more confusion. Also still on the orignal brakes and I am not hearing the wear indicators so I think they're still OK. I'll check those today.

wheel bearings will cause more of a constant noise whereas -Sin- is having it when turning or braking

Yup, the ABS has come on more times in 24hr than it has in the three plus years that I owned it. It also does it when the car floats (lifts up a little)....

Who put your tires on, many times I have heard of places doing one thing only to break something else in the process, are you getting any engine lights, is it under warranty, take it to the dealer
