Ok, so I did my required 15 post so I can post a new thread but it still didn't work. So hopefully yall don't blast me and understand why I made 15 post recently.

So I have done many mods to my car, and had a lot of help doing so by coming to this forum, I never said much since I was a noob awhile ago and didn't want to ask stupid questions, anyways I digress.

I just install a backup camera in my 04 max that works with my pioneer avh4200DVD. I saw people post to tap into the reverse light to make it work. So after hours of having my car apart and finally getting it to work I was at ease.

But now I have another issue. For some reason when I turn my car on, the dash lights go on, but when I turn my headlights on they turn off. I first tried to check the dimmer switch but that didn't fix the problem. I then check all the fuses in the car, and they were all fine. I then check all the fuses outside in the engine area, they were fine. Then my friend suggested to switch my relays in and out with another one to see if one of them went bad. Yeah, that didnt work either. I did not have this problem before I did this job. Did anyone who installed a reverse cam in their car have this issue? I just want to fix it and still have my reverse cam working properly. In the mean time I am going to disconnect the wire that I spliced into the reverse light by my taillight to see if that fixes the problem. Thank

i just bought a 2004 SL fully loaded with navi. has 80k on it. i noticed the notorious tick/rattle from my timing area. it is now getting replaced under warranty no cost to me .... car was inspected by my mechanic and everything is tight and good.

 

I bought mine 04 Maxima SL 2 years ago with 69000 and now it has 88079 miles on it.

 

i have an 2000 SE with 129000mi

 

i bought an 05 se with 63k and now have about 67k. just installed a nismo CAI

 

Just got mine about 3 weeks ago and only got 71900 miles on it and hoping i keep it for at least five years.

 

got an 07 with 73000

 

got an 07 new se now has57000 cvt whine getting on my nervs

 

Bought mine new in 2000 and just hit 201000 miles.
REplaced the coils, transmission speed sensor and radiator (hoses, too), but the rest is just maintenance with Mobil 1 and Bosch sparkplugs.

The shame of it, I can't really tell. I have an 06 Max, got at an auction in NJ in May 2010. The carfax then said 92+k, but the car odometer read 40+k. The odometer reads 43.5k now, so I guess the car has actually gone 95.5k, lol.

2004 se w 132,000 miles so far. bought it w 38k in 2006. couple repairs/maintenance stuff. some minor engine mods. burns some oil.. it runs like a champ.

 

Brought My 08 Maxima on 10-02-2007 with 3 miles, now has 28,438 and still running like the fist day!....nok nok nok <--- that's my wood table.

 

Well mine has 100,806 on it, and it will have 100,808 on it in the morning when I sign the papers to buy it! it's an 07 SL.

I got an 05 maxima with 116 miles. I'm trying to reply to 15 posts so I can figure out what the hell is wrong with my maxima. It's pretty much going to shh right now.

Bought new, May 08. Now have 42,000. Like the car but drive it very little-wife's. Trying to find out how to change out the driver side fog light since when I went to wash it last week, noticed the glass is broken. Still haven't found out info on how to replace it......any help here would be appreciated.
