corvette fogs?????

Call me crazy but I would like to put corvette or similer fogs on a 6th gen (yes I know it has fogs on it already, I want the look though). I have a billet grill on the top and bottom and was wondering if i should put some fogs shinning through the billet in about the dia. of a corvettes; however the question after that would be how the heck would I mount them? I would like to position them kind of where the fogs are on an altima but just a tad closer to the center of the car. I think it would help the car look a tad bit more on the "mean looking" side.

Has anyone done this before? Let me know what you guys think

not quite the corvette I was talkin about, I'll find a pic. The max on bottom half that size and more to the center.

So you're looking to put a pair of projector fogs in the bottom grille right? I think that's just gonna look weird to have four lights in the bottom.

its not projector just yellow prolly 6k fog lights about 2" in dia. behind the billet. During the day you will see the factory turning lights (on bottom) and at night you will see the fogs shine through the grill and you won't see the other lights until you turn your blinker on.

SEXIMA04 had put the Altima SE-R fogs in near the front plate and I thought it was hot. His pics are no longer viewable tho.

imo it would look good only if the stock bumper lights were removed and the whole lower area was replaced by mesh. MaxxxPower should have taken out the stocks and just kept going with that grilled mesh look.

Just a idea, Has anyone ever thought of making some type of fiberglass contraption that changes the face of the cornering lights to facing forward so that we can elongate the wire for the original fogs which go into the headlights and bring them down into the new foglights. Yeah we would need the fiberglass "contraption" and a new set of lights that are actually fogs (and not just corneringlights) becuase we would need to fit a h3 bulb in there and call it a day. it would be cheaper then a 07 conversion also.

I don't like the 6.5 gen setup. The fogs are right under the headlights (not mean enough look). The pic above is perfect positioning.

Now take and run billet grill in front of them so they are hidden and leave the corner (turning lights) on the car.

This way a bystander will always only see two lights instead of four.
Just durning the day the fogs won't really be serving their purpose of looking mean.

Oh well i will see if I can find the right fogs and do the install. I will take pics and do a right up to post on here for anyone who might want to do this setup.

Thanks for the inputs and pics!!!

When MaxxxPower installed the fogs, where did he wire them in? Are they spliced in circuit to come on with the current fogs or the headlights (or the runners for that matter)? I've been looking into this for a while now. Did he just use the 07-08 foglights, or are they different?

I though of that about 6-8 months ago. I know I can build something similar for our cars out of fiberglass or possibly even vacuum molded ABS but I just can't justify wasting what little spare time I have to build them. It's a project that I'd really like to start though...

You mean like this:

I scanned it out of a Japanese VIP Style magazine.
