New mufflers for my Greddy

New mufflers for my Greddy

I was thinking of getting new mufflers to replace the greddy ones , but leave the piping , will I loose power ? I want to get like ebay carbon fiber ones , what do you think let me know , I also think they're going to be louder and thats what I want . Thanks .

I dont believe changing mufflers has a significant effect on a car's power.

Post a link for these CF ones you are looking at. Also, dont get ricey sounding loud ones! The magnaflows seem pretty popular among the 6th gen drivers.

Well it's a v6 so it's not going to sound like civic lol but I want something loud , I kinda like cattman , they sound meaner than greddy

Cattmans are pretty loud for my taste. I have a post on youtube that is quite representative. The magnaflows are what make it loud. i belive 14862

the magnaflow seems popular on this forum I noticed. the tips on those seem humongous though.
I changed my stock sonata muffler to borlas and left all piping stock and it sounded pretty nice. not too loud.

Check out borla.

you will not lose power as long as it has the same inlet and outlet your current one has and it's ****tily designed.
