I searched around and got different answers (even spoke to a few installers) to this so just hear me out completely before anything. I checked a few threads and spoke to some people apparently got mixed answers. So here is the story. I got tein drop springs which I bought like in the fall, and now I just received my end links. so Issues

1. If I get my springs installed should I go get alignment right away or wait till the springs settle?

2. Should the end links also go on at the time of installation of springs or should I wait a while once agian for springs to "settle"

3. If I wait for springs to settle how long should I wait before getting alignment? Approx in either mileage or weeks.

1 and 3. Wait about a week and see how the ride is. I didn't have to get a alignment.

2. Install everything at the same time. You will save money and time.

yep warren said it perfect... all of the countless installs i've done .. none have gotten a alignment and none have had probs. even my coilovers set to the lowest no probs but some recommend it

How can you lower a car, change the suspensions geometry, and not get it aligned?

You're fooling yourself if you think your alignment is still good just because the steering wheel is straight. Toe and camber are always altered when you change the ride height.

Sort of like getting the car tuned up, but never changing the oil. Crazy....

agree with njmax, changing your ride height alters the geometry of the suspension set up, therefore alters the way your tires sit on the pavement. i can guarantee you that your alignment is out in some way. even after i put in my system in my car the weight of it messed with the camber and i had to tweak it just a little bit. definetly check your alignment at a shop.

Yea Ima go for alignment regardless but my ? is do I wait a bit before going for alignment or can I just get it done.

its best to wait about a week to let the struts break in a bit and the springs to settle into the rubber spring pads. drive the car like you normally would, let them get used to the weight of the vehicle. you can adjust the springs to where you want, on average though ive seen them go down another half inch to an inch depending on the weight of the vehicle that have come through my work, ive never seen a dropped maxima though so idk. i imagine you will have to do a little tweaking with the endlinks after it settles, but nothing major so just install everything at once.

Feb 08 I installed my rear endlinks, March 08 I installed the front ones & the FSTB. In Aug of 08, I installed my Eibach lowering springs and then went to get my alignment. The front was off just a bit, but nothing to worry about it. The alignment shop corrected it and I was on my way. Every oil change I double check the tightness of ALL the nuts on ALL the endlinks. I wish I had everything at the same time because YOU DO save time. Tire off, then tire on, then tire off again.....the same routine. Good luck.

Please get an alignment and yes a week sound great. I did the lock nuts on my endlinks bc I was cont tightening them. I have to say that the toe on these cars go right after you leave the alignment shop.
