Yeah but look at all the pictures on Page 1 and no matter what the camera angle the right side looks lower???

Especially this picture taken with a flash so there is no shadowing.

I see it. Sorry I didn't before. I plan on getting the rest of the stillen kit this summer, get the front bumper worked on hopefully to correct this and a few other issues I have with the bad molding and the completed kit painted by another shop I found. I hope no one else has these kind of issues (molding, not the paint) with the 1.2 bumper. I got the first one off the shelf so that could be the reason. I emailed max2damax my concerns so future customers won't have mold problems. I'm sure he's looking into this and will have it addressed for the 1.2's.

As for the paint, I looked into what one person responded with stating "one stage paint". I think this is the problem possibly. One stage paint that looks very close to the color but doesn't match exact. It's ultimately my fault and will have it repainted.

Does anyone have a lead on were to purchase metal mesh like the stillen ss grille? I'd like to replace the bottom mesh with something that matches my grille.

I had the same paint problem with my RLM bumper when it was first painted, a local paint shop I now use told me when it comes to fiberglass (in my case) the paint is absorbed thus causing a paint match problem if only one coat is applied. When I shaved my bumper and took it back for resurfacing and new paint I ensured it got a double shot before clear coat.

Actually IMO the paint looks good!!!

as i said bring it back to the shop who painted it and have it redone...definetly looks like 1 stage. which is cheap and fast to spray. fwiw a bumper painted should be around 100-150 installed. throw em 50 to fix the molding isses and the shrapen the lines so it's not so...rounded...

i'm surprised to manufacture of your bumper didn't offer to pay to fix the cosmetic defects in his product...

I've asked him to chime in on this thread. I wonder if he's avoiding it like the black plague?

sorry guys Im not avoiding, I have been around but bussy since im moving out and only have internet at work for now,
First Im not the manufacturer, I designed the bumper and Extreme Dimensions made the mold and will be making the bumpers for me, and them since they will also sell them, so on that note I kind of don't have that much power over the manufacturing of the bumpers, recently I did get them go fix the height issues which most of you know about, as far as lines go they do tend to vary as the spray their duraflex bumpers with a special black "gel" coat; they do have on their disclaimer that all body kits need professional installation and that includes some body work, and I believe that goes for all companies that make body kits.

Over all Im happy with the quality and durability of the product I have hit, bent, scraped, pulled the my bumper so many times and the only thing that is not lasting is the paint, Im sure if it was a fiberglass bumper it would be a whole different story as they tend to crack quite easily, could the bumper need some extra body work, sure but over all I guarantee you'll be happy with the way they look with or without the that extra body work. besides im actually selling them cheaper than the fiberglass option out there so its a win win situation

I read that document. Hence the reason I plan on having some body work done to it and a repaint. I don't plan on going back to that same shop. If they do a bad job the first time, how should you expect them to do a better job the next time. This summer, everything will be fine.

Max2damax, if you got my PM that was merely suggestions. Too bad you don't have more power over modifications to the 1.2's. That would be nice to have.
