I have one bad abs sensor that kinda got stripped on the passenger side. the driver side i got replaced brand new. lets see how can i explain this...

basically while im driving at normal highway speeds the rpm is at 1800 when i push the gas pedal a little harder it just jumps up to 2800ish or 2900. no matter how lightly i tap the gas pedal it just jumps up to 2800. whats going on here? anything to do with the abs sensor?

 

Nothing to do with the ABS sensor. That is just your torque converter doing it's thing.

Yes, you're giving it enough throttle input that the TCC is unlocking.

your abs sensors are your speed sensor so fix the sensor.
