Sounds like you need a SAFC+ dyno tune. That will tell you exactly what HP your car is making.

This seems to do what disconnecting the battery does.

well i guess i'll try that.... and c what happens i left it disconnected for like 8 hrs but i'm tryin to wait a lil to get the utec bc like u said it goes back to stock settings i herd about this on the 350z forums

I did a search on all of Chern's posts and found the tranny build post. $4600 was the number he quoted...

You can't just set the MAF sensor. You have to manipulate the item that reads the sensor. You could buy one of those speed/performance enhancing gimics off ebay "ie. resistor" and add it to the MAF. They say you will get 100hp for $29.99. You could just go to Radio Sack and get one for $2. I recommend getting a SAFC.

still waiting on IPT to email me the list. I did some looking on their site and if they provide the same for our transmission as they do the 4 speed, then we would be set. About $2000 in parts would include High Stall Converter, Rebuild Kit, ValveBody Rebuild, and a Modified Solenoid Assembly. I don't know we'll see. I will be calling again tomorrow morning.

yea their customer service dept sux as you may have noticed. I think they probably didn't think I was serious so they blew me off. Someone else who has the time and patients should give it a shot. Sorry if it seems like I dropped the ball guys.

Hey man, only so much you can do... not a good move on their part though. I could see them making a killing, seeing as how many 6th Genners have tranny problems.
