Nismo Exhaust Question

Ok, I've kind of changed my mind on things and may be deciding to go the Nismo catback exhaust route. I looked it up on leeparts.com, and I'm wondering if the 07-08 exhaust for the 3.5 altima will fit our 6th gen maximas with a 2" extension. Also, if you have a better place to buy this exhaust from, please let me know.

yea, you can go for the 2" or 2.5" extension and i think leeparts are the only ones are selling them, and even if you check ebay, i think its them who sells it there...

You can always order at the dealer. Want one myself but I already spent more than $1K on some new stuff.

Well from what I read the Nismo has an aggressive stock sound, like a 350Z or Infinity and I like the tips. I'm not interested in anything louder than that. If it is loud like something else than I would get rid of it.

Really? It doesnt sound that way in the videos but it's probably way different in person. On the Altimas it doesnt sound like a Z or G35. Personally I thought the Cattman video sounded similar to a G35 but to each their own...

Ok just to clear things up, the nismo for the 07-08 3.5 Altima will fit our maximas with just the 2.5" piping extension?

You will be the first to find out. Let us know cause the 07-08 Nismo exhaust is cheaper.

Ha well I'd rather not be the first to try this.

After comparing pics of both the 02-06 and the 07-08 exhaust, I would have to say that I don't see any difference. If the 07-08 model fits I'm definitely going to get it soon.

I ended up not getting the nismo, so to answer your questions i don't know if the 07-08 would fit our cars.
