strange noise after revving

I started noticing this high pitched noise after revving after I put my y-pipe and custom b-pipe on:

It's less noticeable after the car is warmed up.

Any ideas?

At first I thought it was a bird chirping? lol

Hmmm no idea what to tell ya man... I guess go back through the installation and make sure everything is in its place?

sounds kinda like the throttle electronically adjusting??? I know when i turn off the car I hear what sounds like an electrical actuator working, but its not chirping like that.

that sounds like a, light, squeaky metal-metal contact

That "bird chirp" sound is normal. I heard that noise on my car even when it was completely stock. You can hear that same noise in xoomer's video here. Not as loud as yours, but you filmed it in a garage.

From an earlier thread about that same exact sound, someone stated it was the electronic throttle body. The sound does sound like an electronically controlled mechanism, so they could be right...

thanks for the replies guys. i wasn't sure if there was something wrong with my car.

it's weird how i never really noticed the noise until now.

are there any factors that would cause it to be louder at times? i was checking out videos online and didn't hear the chirping noise on some of the 6th gens.

I didn't really notice it until I installed the Fujita, but I think that's because before that I would always have the radio on and couldn't hear it, lol. After the Fujita I'd leave the radio off just to hear the roar, and that's probably when I noticed it.
