As you stated...the stealership, do some research online, you can find really low cost yet good quality rotors and pads for your car. Then all you have to do is find a qualified mechanic to install them if you cant do it yourself. Dont give them your hard earned cash....the economy is bad..lol...

There's nothing to replacing the brakes on a max...

Do it yourself, you'll feel better.

Check with the org sponsors bro. There are some good deals on here for pads and/or rotors.

Pricing depends on what you want so you're going to have to look that up yourself because you know what you're looking for. Installing them is not that hard and there are write ups for that as well. If you have some simple tools and can get the rotor off then its only a few steps. If you really don't feel comfortable doing it, then take your parts to a neighborhood mechanic that you trust. NEVER go to the dealership for brakes. You will get standard parts and still pay premium prices. They suck!

longest running sentence evar. You should really consider using punctuation in your posts, it makes things a heck of a lot easier to read. Plus it allows me to breathe more when I read.

anyways, Sorry you didn't get what you wanted, but sometimes in cases like that its easier to get pricing directly from the dealership (a lot of times its posted at the desks) for a few reasons...

- dealerships can at times vary with prices
- you never know what you EXACTLY need... so getting a price before getting it checked out is pretty useless.
