Rotor question

Hey folks, sorry it is a stupid question, but is there a difference between rotors for 04-05 and 06-07? I was looking to buy some 6th gen brakes for my 5th gen and notice the different part numbers, which is why I am asking.

Thanks in advance.

Finish perhaps, or maybe the supplier. No physical difference.

Don't waste your money on stock rotors. They will warp in less than 2 years guarenteed. Buy aftermarket ones.

Which brand of pads/rotors are good quality and should be used to replace OEM? I dont want to buy crap, but I dont need anything extreme, slotted, etc.

I will be honest I bought my drilled slotted rotors on ebay for 250 shipped. I have had them just about 3 years and 30k miles plus with no warping. Started rusting on the hub area about 6 months ago but I pulled then cleaned em up and spray painted them to match the original color. came out great no issues. I get an alignment at least once a year and they check the rotors for warping and nothing yet. I get my brake pads from Checkers. I use rabestos brand ceramics. Lasted me 2 years with little wear. I use them pretty hard all the time with my driving habbits. I just bought replacements when I did my Caliper painting. Still had alot of life on em. They are pretty quiet and have minimal brake dust.

Worth replacing the oem rotors/pads or not worth it??? Will it make a difference in braking power?

I had to replace my OEM rotors because they were warped real bad. And yes braking is a whole lot better. Deffinitly better in the rain.

When should you change the pads? Nissan says 2mm. My front wheels have like 5-6 mm left, and rear have 3-4mm left.

The rotors look fine and dont vibrate when I brake. Worth changing them or just not worth it? Remove, sand, brake cleaner, and done?
