Ok fellas, I've just installed my Racingline FSB today and I want to finish it up. It was pretty much a painless process and it looks really good. I'm ready to trim the plastic side covers and I wanted to know what you guys used. I don't want to ruin the install with a frak'd up trim job

X-acto knife- I have a small set but I think the plastic is too thick

Dremel- Don't have it

Kitchen scissors/shears - Solingen steel baby, Germans knows steel

Suggestions please.

 

Dremel with teh high speed cutter

 

Just use the scissors... dremel would be ideal, but you gotta work with what you have!

 

U can get a dremel really cheap at Harbor Freight. Dremels are cheap even at Home Depot and it will be used again and again

go spend $20 and get a dremmel

 

ya gotta get a dremmel, you'll have more mods i'm sure and the dremmel is your friend.

 

X-acto knife- or/and Kitchen scissors/shears will give excellent results trimming those plastic covers. Dremmel is nice to have, but is overkill for this job

I used a box cutter. Simple job. It's not rocket science.

 

I used the above mentioned box cutter and it worked great.
